A Cyber Security Manager develops, manages and maintains cyber security including disaster recovery and database protection. Ensures compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (PCI DSS); plans and designs security solutions and capabilities to identify, protect, detect, respond, recover from, and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, manage and maintain cyber security strategies and action plans for all Company information systems assets, including disaster recovery, database protection, and planning and designing security solutions and capabilities to identify, protect, detect, respond, recover from, and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities 
  • Coordinate all information technology (IT) security-related compliance including but not limited to conducting external/internal audits to ensure the security of all Company information systems assets 
  • Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) 
  • Provide guidance and expertise to IT and store management teams on processes, controls, and objectives regarding audit and information security activities, best practices and process improvement 
  • Maintain all Information Security Policy and Procedures documentation and waivers to standard policy 
  • Design action plans for policy creation and governance, disaster recovery, incident response 
  • Define and develop security requirements using risk assessments, threat modeling, testing and analysis of existing systems
  • Develop security integration plans to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions 
  • Collaborate with IT Leadership to create clear, actionable Cyber Security Strategy with specific deliverables, timelines and accountability to resolve information security issues and cybersecurity threats 
  • Utilize a variety of cyber security tools (SEIM, DLP, IPS, etc) 
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and office equipment 
  • Work a variety of days and shifts (including weekends, nights and on-call support rotation) at local and out-of-state sites as needed 
  • Perform duties outside standard business hours as needed, including evenings and weekends 
  • Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction 
  • Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
  • Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds  
Key Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Assist with other operational activities such data loss prevention and vulnerability scanning, and HR and Legal investigations as needed 
  • Assist with on-site support as needed 
  • Proficiently use and operate all necessary tools and equipment 
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook 
  • Get along well with others and act as a team player 
  • Other duties assigned as needed
