The IT Systems Analyst implements and supports current and new applications and upgrades within a team environment while providing excellent customer service to all Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants and corporate office.

 

Essential Functions

  • Implement and resolve application functionality-related issues in a timely manner, identify modifications needed in existing applications, provide first level of support and troubleshooting and assist in troubleshooting software application issues
  • Coordinate application development for multiple projects
  • Analyze data and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions
  • Assist LEYE teams in managing an outsource relationship for third party application development and programming consultants
  • Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
  • Prepare testing plans to confirm that requirements and system design are accurate and complete
  • Write technical procedures and documentation for multiple varied new and existing applications including operations, user guide, etc.
  • Collaborate with the IT Network Team to resolve application-related network issues and report progress
  • Provide advice on and assist in the selection, design, justification, implementation and use of systems
  • Identify current and emerging business needs and evaluate alternative IT solutions
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored or accessed by the network
  • Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of systems and related business processes
  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and office equipment
  • Work a variety of days and shifts (including weekends, nights and on-call support rotation) at local and out-of-state sites as needed
  • Perform duties outside standard business hours as needed, including evenings and weekends
  • Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
  • Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist other departments as a computer resource including but not limited to expediting requests via LEYE IT helpdesk tickets
  • Proficiently use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Get along well with others and act as a team player
  • Other duties assigned as needed
