About us

Little Vegas and Little Macau are adult gaming centres operated by Chongie Entertainment UK Ltd, licensed by the Gambling Commission. We run 18 venues across the South East, between Peterborough and Crawley, and we are still growing. Our venues trade 24/7, and we are a practical, operations-led business.

The role
You will own recruitment and onboarding for everyone joining the business below senior team level. You will run the process end to end, support venue managers and other hiring managers to recruit well, and staff new venues ready for opening.

Key responsibilities
Recruitment

  • Oversee all recruitment across the business, excluding the senior team
  • Write and post adverts, manage job boards and run campaigns through our applicant tracking system
  • Screen applications, arrange and attend interviews, and manage offers
  • Make sure vacancies are filled quickly with the right people
Supporting hiring managers
  • Support venue managers and other hiring managers through each stage of the process
  • Hold hiring managers to agreed standards and timescales, and step in where they fall short
  • Coach managers on interviewing, selection and fair recruitment practice

New venue openings

  • Plan and deliver recruitment for new venues so each one opens fully staffed
  • Work with operations on opening timelines and staffing requirements

Onboarding

  • Oversee onboarding for every new starter
  • Complete pre-employment checks, including right to work and references
  • Issue contracts and starter documentation, and make sure new starters complete induction and mandatory training before working unsupervised
  • Keep recruitment and onboarding records accurate and compliant with data protection requirements
 About you

Essential

  • Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment, in-house or agency
  • Experience supporting or holding hiring managers to account
  • Well organised, able to manage several campaigns at once across multiple sites
  • Confident, direct communicator at all levels
  • Willing to travel to venues and to work flexibly around a 24/7 business

Desirable

  • Experience in hospitality, retail, leisure or gambling
  • Experience recruiting for new site openings
  • Knowledge of right-to-work checks and pre-employment screening
  • Experience using Harri or a similar applicant tracking system
What we offer
  • £35000
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 28 days' holiday, inclusive of bank holidays
  • Central London head office
  • The chance to build and shape recruitment in a growing business
How to apply

Apply through our Harri careers page with your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview. Offers are subject to two satisfactory references and proof of the right to work in the UK. The role carries a six-month probationary period.
