We're looking for ambitious leaders who are excited to build something from the ground up and help establish the standards that future Cholapink restaurants will follow.
The Assistant General Manager partners closely with the General Manager to lead the daily operation of our flagship restaurant. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, developing the front-of-house team, supporting financial performance, and ensuring operational excellence. You'll spend the majority of your time on the restaurant floor coaching, leading, and creating memorable guest experiences while helping establish the standards future Cholapink restaurants will follow.
ResponsibilitiesLead daily front-of-house operations and shift execution.
Deliver exceptional hospitality and resolve guest concerns.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop hourly team members.
Support scheduling, labor management, payroll, and daily administrative functions.
Coach performance and maintain accountability.
Ensure operational, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
Support inventory, cash handling, and financial controls.
Partner closely with the General Manager and culinary leadership.
Build a positive, respectful, high-performing team culture.
3+ years of restaurant management experience.
Strong hospitality, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience in premium fast casual, upscale casual, or high-volume restaurants preferred.
Opening experience highly desirable.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
A valid NYC Food Protection Certificate is required upon hire. Candidates who do not currently hold the certification must obtain it before their first day of employment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
