Job Title: Sales and Events Manager

Salary Range: 80k to 110k annually

Specific to: Corporate Sales & Events, Restaurant Sales & Events, New Client Acquisitions.
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Reports To: General Manager / Director of Sales

We specialize in hosting a wide range of private events — from corporate meetings and holiday parties to weddings and special celebrations. We're seeking an energetic and highly motivated Sales and Events Manager to join our team and help drive corporate dining sales, private dining sales, coordinate events, and build lasting relationships with our guests.

Job Summary:

The Sales and Events Manager is responsible for generating event business, managing the full event lifecycle, and ensuring every detail exceeds guest expectations. This position requires a creative, organized, and results-driven individual with strong experience and a passion for delivering five-star service and results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate leads and secure private dining bookings, corporate functions, and special events
  • New Client Acquisitions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and local organizations
  • Conduct site tours and tastings with potential clients
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and contracts
  • Oversee the planning and execution of all events, from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
  • Work closely with the culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM or event management system
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and event revenue goals
  • Represent the restaurant at networking events, trade shows, and community engagements
  • Ensure all events reflect the brand’s standards and elevate the guest experience

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales and/or event planning experience in hospitality, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or venue
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/Event software (e.g., Tripleseat)
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
