Role Overview:

As the Bartender of Chotto Matte, you will ensure our guests have an exceptional and memorable Chotto experience. Your ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude will be critical to your success in this role.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or requests. 

• Memorize all beverage recipes and notes, ensuring the ability to advise and recommend to guests.

• Process payments and handle cash and card transactions. 
  

• Maintain a demeanor of professionalism and excellence in service delivery.

• Assist with service of special events and private dining experiences. 

• Collaborate closely with other departments to optimize operational efficiency. 

• Champion health, sanitation, and food safety protocols at all times.

• Proactively identify and address potential hazards.

• Maintain impeccable personal hygiene, adhere to uniform standards, and exemplify conduct expectations.

• Embrace ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to departmental goals.

Physical Demands:

• Reach and grasp. Push and pull objects. 

• Repetitive arm movements.

• Ability to move with agility, stand for extended periods, and bend as necessary.
  

• Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent command of English language (Written and spoken).

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-end restaurant is preferred. 
  

• Expertise in spirits, wine, and sake.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• A naturally friendly and positive demeanor coupled with solid communication skills.

• Self-motivated with a dedication to personal and professional growth.

• Ability to handle difficult situations successfully.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
