Description
The Ascott Limited’s UK cluster are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join the team working particularly for our pre-opening property Citadines Islington Square London. We offer a home away from home with contemporary and sleek studios and apartments with modern comforts, business connectivity and additional services customised to our guests’ lifestyle and needs.

As a Sales Account Manager you will focus on the UK portfolio of properties, with cross-selling into our Europe cluster of properties and globally. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you as the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts to
develop and ensure productivity to reach relevant targets, along with a strong focus on new business development.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be required to:

• Manage your portfolio targeted accounts through establishing and maintaining client relationships and effective selling techniques
• Understand the local area of business, identifying potential opportunities or challenges being aware of the properties strategy for sales and revenue
• Use cross selling techniques for promotion of all brands in the UK, Europe and internationally
• Organise and implement regular client activities to cement the relationship with existing and prospective accounts
• Ensure your knowledge is current of the economic environment, using competitive intelligence
• Be actively engaged in seeking new business opportunities for the property and UK portfolio

To be successful as a Sales Account Manager, ideally you must have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Sales environment
• Proven track record of generating revenue from all market segments
• Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good IT practice (Microsoft Office Suite) and Property Management Systems (PMS)
• A degree in Hospitality, Business or International Business
