Position Summary
The Off-Site Event Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional service at off-site City Winery events, including conducting guided wine tastings and/or tours. This role ensures a positive and hospitable experience by engaging guests, assisting with wine sales, and supporting the setup and breakdown of off-site event spaces. As an ambassador of the City Winery brand, the Off-Site Event Associate provides guests with knowledge about our wines and the overall City Winery experience, contributing to memorable and successful events.
Overview of Responsibilities:
● Assist with the setup and breakdown of all off-site events, ensuring event spaces are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with City Winery’s brand standards.
● Help manage event logistics, including loading/unloading offsite event supplies, staging, and display arrangements.
● Actively engage with guests, offering friendly, knowledgeable guidance about our wine offerings and assisting with wine sales.
● Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service throughout the event.
● Work closely with the Director of Wine Sales to troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and ensure seamless execution.
● Promote City Winery’s wine club and other offerings, contributing to a positive sales experience.
● Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
● Prior event, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
● Knowledge of wine and an interest in expanding expertise in this area.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to lift 30+ lbs. and handle physical tasks related to event setup and breakdown. ● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required by event schedules.
