combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine
classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We
have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and
active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a
large city.
Position Summary
As a Street Team Ambassador, you will represent City Winery Hudson Valley in the local community, building relationships with residents, businesses, and visitors. Your primary role is to promote our venue, events, and experiences through in-person engagement, distributing materials, and creating a memorable first impression of the City Winery brand. This is a highly interactive role that combines marketing, sales, and community outreach.
Overview of Responsibilities
● Community Engagement: Visit local neighborhoods, businesses, and high-traffic areas to introduce City Winery Hudson Valley and promote upcoming events.
● Promotional Distribution: Hang flyers and posters on bulletin boards, windows, and designated public spaces. Distribute promotional materials and share information about our wine, food, and entertainment offerings.
● Lead Generation & Feedback: Collect customer contact information, engage with potential guests, and gather feedback to help refine marketing strategies.
● Event Support: Assist with set-up, promotion, and execution of on-site and off-site events, tastings, and special promotions.
● Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of City Winery Hudson Valley’s offerings to effectively communicate highlights and benefits.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ways to engage the local community and enhance brand visibility.
● Content Creation: Support in content creation onsite which will be used for marketing purposes in various formats.
● Flexible Scheduling: Work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as required to align with events and promotions.
Minimum Qualifications
● Outgoing Personality: Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about engaging with people in a variety of settings.
● Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate City Winery Hudson Valley’s offerings.
● Customer Service Orientation: Passion for creating positive experiences for community members and guests.
● Reliability & Flexibility: Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to a variety of tasks and schedules.
● Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing, walking, and carrying promotional materials for extended periods.
● Experience: Previous experience in marketing, promotions, sales, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
