Position Summary
The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our venue, including repairs, carpentry work, painting, and general maintenance tasks.


Overview of Responsibilities

●       Perform repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the venue, including but not limited to:

●       Carpentry work such as building shelves, repairing furniture, and installing fixtures

●       Painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed

●       Plumbing repairs and minor electrical work

●       HVAC system maintenance and filter replacements

●       Flooring repairs

●       General maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the venue

●       Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards and address them quickly

●       Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and ensure they are properly stored and maintained

●       Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations

●       Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Minimum Qualifications

·        Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting

·        Strong carpentry skills and experience with woodworking tools and equipment

·        Proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of painting materials and products

·        Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

·        Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.

·        Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

·        Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
