City Winery strives to deliver the highest-end combined culinary and cultural experience to our customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a large city.

Position Summary:
Concierge is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service experiences to all clientele that have interactions with City Winery. This individual serves as a point of contact at the Box Office for purposes of general guest relations and support, ticketing, CW Rewards Program and CW merchandise. The Concierge team member is responsible for maximizing ticket and retail merchandise sales, while serving as a brand ambassador of the Company.

Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years prior experience in a concierge, box office, or customer service role in a hospitality setting preferred and/or equivalent relevant experience
• Exceptional hospitality and guest service skills
• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality guest experiences, exceed guest expectations, and strive to create a memorable experience at every City Winery visit
• Proficient typing and computer skills
• Strong work ethic, calm demeanor with customer-focused approach, and immaculate attention to detail
• Polished presentation
• Aptitude in resolving issues with a guest-focused orientation
• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build positive relationships with coworkers and guests.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be fluently literate in English including ability to read, write, and communicate, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; stand and walk regularly; occasionally lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds when needed


Overview of Responsibilities
• Correspondence with guests via phone and email
• Manage online and phone ticket sales
• Greet patrons who walk through the door
• Handle all retail merchandise transactions, organization, sales, inventory, ordering needs, and upkeep
• Maximize ticket sales and retail merchandise sales
• Actively participate in and support box office staff duties as needed (host, usher, coat check) including set up and breakdown of venue spaces
• Review and familiarize with floor plans and set up
• Assist guests with seat changes.
• Compile house and artist comps and arrange seating appropriately.
• Sell and handle transactions for walk up tickets, tickets to future shows, gift cards
• Compile list of Vino File members in house to post at service stations for servers to tag member checks for rewards.
• Handle troubleshooting with guests on ticketing purchases
• Close out and reconcile box office transactions
• Arrange special care of VIP’s, Investors, or other guests who may receive gratis food or drink
• Update the Walk up Ticket sales Google document as needed
• Maintain a neat and tidy Concierge booth
• Add guests to comp list that are submitted to concierge any other avenue than Magento
• Populate and complete daily TILT log with appropriate attachments
• Execute show cancellations, data entry and or other unique tasks within the concierge scope as determined by the General Manager and or Box Office Management
• Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
• Adhere to and abide by cash handling procedures as per Company standards
• Attend trainings, tastings, meetings, as needed
• Maintain a knowledge of City Winery brand, history, culture, and programming, both in venue and restaurant
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time, in uniform, with neat and presentable appearance.
• Support and perform all other duties, project, initiatives, tasks as per business need
