Description
Clifton's Republic, located in Historic Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a daytime restaurant manager! This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work for a venue that combines a historic cafeteria with 3 floors of unique bar spaces that define a truly immersive guest experience! We are seeking a well-versed hospitality professional that understands the guest experience, branding, building goodwill, maintaining an amazing team of A+ staff, etc.
Requirements:
- Well versed in restaurant operations, with at least 5 years of experience managing restaurant spaces
- Experience managing a large staff
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong sense of organization
- Ability to be a leader and establish a strong presence with staff and guests
- Strong ability to train and mentor staff
- Ability to strategically schedule employees and leverage labor
- Strong sense of guest services is a must!
- Critical thinker that understands the complexity of a large venue
- Team player
- Must work well with many different personalities
- Ability to work in a high-traffic/high-volume environment
Experience using MICROS, Hot Schedules, SevenRooms and other hospitality programs are a strong plus!
We prefer all candidates have relevant certifications to work in hospitality (i.e. food handling)
Positions are full-time and include health benefits package.
