THE ROLE
As the Supervisor at Café Linea, you will be instrumental in delivering a seamless guest experience and supporting the day-to-day operations of our high-standard all-day dining restaurant. With a focus on guest relations, service excellence, and team support, you will act as a role model for the staff while ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the premium standards of Café Linea.
As the Supervisor at Café Linea, you will be responsible for:
Guest Relations
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive solutions to ensure exceptional experiences.
- Respond promptly to feedback, resolving concerns with professionalism and turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with regular guests, creating a welcoming and familiar environment.
- Support with guests enquires, ensuring all interactions are warm, attentive, and professional.
Team Support and Leadership- Lead by example on the floor, providing hands-on support to service staff during busy shifts.
- Deliver on-the-job training to ensure all team members are confident in delivering consistent service.
- Motivate and inspire the team, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.
- Assist in managing shift schedules and ensuring adequate staff coverage at all times.
Service Excellence- Uphold and enforce service steps to ensure a smooth and cohesive guest journey.
- Monitor service flow and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency.
- Act as a resource for the team, addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Operational Oversight and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of all areas.
- Gather and analyse guest and team feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Assist with private events, ensuring all details align with Café Linea’s standards.
- Ensure all health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing standards are upheld at all times
