With 72 indoor covers and 60 terrace seats, the venue will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, creating an all-day destination for Londoners. Guests might stop by for a morning croissant and cappuccino, linger over lunch with wine, or enjoy evening spritzes and small plates under candlelight.
As Head Waiter at Café Linea, you’ll play a central role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring seamless service flow, and leading by example on the floor. This position requires professional finesse, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure all guest needs are met with precision and care.
Anticipate and resolve guest concerns with tact; escalate when necessary.
Oversee table service to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistency.
Train, mentor, and inspire the waitstaff to maintain high service standards.
Provide real-time feedback and ensure the team stays motivated and engaged.
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-prepared dining area.
Uphold our service rituals to deliver a consistent and memorable guest journey.
Act as a bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth communication.
Participate in daily briefings to share menu changes, specials, and service priorities.
Maintain guest preference records for tailored, personalised service.
Conduct regular floor checks to ensure cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and readiness.
Guarantee compliance with all health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards.
