We are currently recruiting for a Head Waiter / Waitress to join our team at 67 Pall Mall.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Head Waiter / Waitress to join a great team of professionals. We are looking for a truly passionate professional looking to develop their career.
The restaurant itself is a beautiful, uniquely designed space with bespoke tableware & one of the largest wine lists in the country.
This position is hourly paid with a starting wage of £16.41/hour.
As Head Waiter you will be responsible for liaising with the managers, floor team and senior chefs within the restaurant to ensure the smooth running of each service. As Head Waiter you will supervise the junior members of the floor team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards expected within a timely manner.
As Head Waiter your duties will include:
- Have previous experience in a similar role within a busy, private members’ club or high-quality restaurant environment
- Managing your section within the restaurant efficiently & professionally
- Awareness of the menu & preparation of dishes
- Completing the set-up of the restaurant
- Building a rapport with members
- Maintaining the standards set for service by the Restaurant Manager
- Have an excellent understanding of all areas within a restaurant
- Are excellent team players with a positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
- Develop good relationships with members and knowledge of their tastes and preferences
