Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our boutique hotel team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest rooms and back-of-house areas, ensuring a consistently high standard of comfort and service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities Guest Rooms & Public Areas

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards on a daily basis.
  • Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize bathrooms.
  • Replenish guest room amenities, towels, toiletries, and supplies.
  • Ensure rooms are properly staged and ready for arrivals, stayovers, and VIP guests.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items promptly.
Housekeeping Operations

  • Strip rooms and handle dirty linens following proper housekeeping procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Assist with turndown service and special guest requests as needed.
  • Support room setup for special experiences such as romantic setups, balloons, and amenities.
Inventory & Supplies

  • Monitor housekeeping inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
  • Receive, organize, and properly store housekeeping deliveries and amenities.
  • Use cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment safely and correctly.
Team Coordination

  • Coordinate daily with Front Desk and Operations to prioritize rooms based on arrivals and departures.
  • Follow daily room assignments and cleaning schedules.
  • Adhere to all hotel SOPs, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards.

Schedule & Availability

  • Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week).
  • Flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
