OVERVIEW OF ROLE 

The Bellperson plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable guest experience. As a Bellperson, you will be responsible for handling guests' luggage, helping with transportation and directions, and delivering various items to guest rooms. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, physical stamina, and a keen eye for detail.

EXPECTATIONS

The Bellperson is expected to:

  • Be professional at all the times
  • Greet guests upon arrival, assist with their luggage, and escort them to their rooms.
  • Provide a warm welcome and offer information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities of the Bell Person are summarised below, the list is not exhaustive:

  • Handle guests' luggage with care, ensuring it is properly tagged and securely stored.
  • Transport luggage to and from guest rooms, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage from vehicles or taxis.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests for assistance.
  • Provide accurate directions and recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and entertainment.
  • Arrange transportation for guests, including calling taxis, booking car services, or providing information about public transportation options.
  • Assist at the main entrance by opening and closing car doors for arriving and departing guests.
