The Address Collective are currently looking for a Senior Bartender to join our talented Food and Beverage team. You will be responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage team in serving and assisting guests and customers, whilst also ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
Key Duties of this role:
• Overseeing the smooth running of restaurant operations
• Responsible for end-of-day – restaurant/bar closing
• Cash count and making sure the restaurant is set for breakfast
• Handling the cocktail training for the staff and making sure we are making cocktails as per brand standards
• Restaurant and/or bar standards of service and preparation (SOPs) are adhered to at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of all beverage menus.
• To actively upsell throughout all aspects of customer service.
• At all times, conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience with us.
• Manager/Supervisor to be informed of special requirements or difficulties.
• Responsible for the bar area when on shift.
• To read, understand and comply with your responsibilities as defined in the Health and Safety statement and Staff Handbook.
• Thorough deep cleansing of the bars and surrounds as required. – Any other reasonable duty as requested by management.
• To ensure HACCP, cleaning schedules are completed on a daily basis and standards are maintained.
• To actively participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels.
• To carry out the hotel’s customer relations policy.
• To communicate hotel services to guests as required.
• To receive customer complaints in a courteous and sympathetic fashion and to report to your manager immediately.
• To arrive for duty in accordance with rostered times in full clean uniform and wearing name badge at all times.
• To ensure the highest standards in personal hygiene and grooming. (Please refer to the company grooming policy.)
The Candidate
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a bar.
· Available to work a flexible roster based around a middle shift starting from early afternoon to early evening.
· Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
· Available and eligible to work full-time.
