Principle Accountabilities:
Support, assist, and guide Hotel Revenue Teams within the assigned cluster to maximise revenue from rooms, meetings & events, food & drink, and other sources. Utilise Revenue Management tools to ensure optimal inventory levels and correct price positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels based on forecasted demand.
- Apply effective control methods during high-demand periods.
- Implement space-release policies to maximise rooms and M&E revenue.
- Regularly review hotel data in OTAs, GDS, and other Internet channels.
- Ensure compliance with Company & Brand Pricing and E-Commerce policies.
Pricing and Positioning:
- Ensure correct rate positioning across all segments and seasons.
- Track and monitor price sensitivity.
- Continuously analyse competitors' rates using STR, Lighthouse reports, etc.
- Utilize all available tools to ensure accurate pricing information.
Forecasting/Budgeting:
- Conduct monthly rooms forecasting and distribute relevant reports.
- Grow total revenue and RevPAR Penetration (RGI) to approved budget levels.
- Coordinate the forecasting and budgeting of rooms as per Company/Brand guidelines.
Market Intelligence:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors, marketplace, and demand generators.
- Liaise with FO/Sales for guest feedback about competitors via Review Pro reporting.
Revenue Analysis and Tracking:
- Conduct weekly/monthly Revenue Management meetings.
- Ensure active communication between Sales, M&E, Finance, and Front Office teams.
- Utilize Revenue Management Tools (Daily Pick Up Report, H360, Pace, Segmentation, etc.).
Revenue Improvement:
- Implement up-selling techniques in the reservations department.
- Focus on call conversions (transient, group, and C&B).
- Track and critique incentive plans on a monthly basis.
Hotel Visits:
- Visit all hotels in the Cluster according to demand and requirements, at least once a week.
Brand Standards:
- Ensure all advertising and promotional materials are approved by the Director of Brand & Revenue.
- Promote marketing initiatives and monitor hotel publicity material.
Quality & Customer Service:
- Ensure new and existing companies receive excellent service to foster loyalty.
- Handle queries or complaints professionally and efficiently.
Communication, Teamwork & Leadership:
- Attend weekly/monthly sales and management meetings.
- Lead by example in personal presentation, punctuality, and customer care.
- Be flexible with working hours, travel, and place of work.
- Be cost-conscious regarding travel and accommodation expenditures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Revenue Management tools and software.
