Cookshop, a long-standing neighborhood favorite committed to seasonal and locally produced food, is looking for an ambitious, hard-working, and passionate HostThe Host is responsible for greeting and seatings guests, and taking telephone reservations in accordance with the standards of the Bowery Group NYC.

This position requires daytime hours, evening hours, weekends and availability to work through the holidays with PART TIME AVAILABILITY.

Cookshop is an urban restaurant that draws energy and vitality from its commitment to honoring the seasons and using the products of regional farming. We serve lunch, dinner and brunch.

Cookshop is part of The Bowery Group, responsible for neighborhood favorites Rosie’s, Shuka, Shukette and Vic’s. The Bowery Group is proud to list accolades such as James Beard Nominee for Outstanding Restaurateur 2022, Best Chef Greater New York 2022, New York’s Top 10 New Restaurants of 2021 in the New York Times, as well as multiple write ups of our restaurants in various publications.

We firmly believe, with limited exceptions, that it is impossible to define American Cuisine. There are so many ethnic, cultural and regional influences that contribute to the variety of what we as Americans choose for our daily meals.
