Description

At Copain, we bring together the comfort of a neighborhood café with the craft of a true boulangerie and brasserie, now expanding into full-service dining at our new Ballantyne location. Our dinner service is built on an ingredient-driven, seasonal approach where honest cooking takes the lead. The kitchen emphasizes simple techniques, precise execution, and respect for ingredients, producing dishes that are refined and not overcomplicated.

We are now hiring Line Chefs to join our opening dinner service team at Copain Ballantyne. In this role you will be part of building a high-performing kitchen focused on consistency, teamwork, and professional growth in a refined dining environment. You will learn and execute dishes with accuracy and attention to detail, maintain clean and organized stations while abiding by the state health and sanitation guidelines, and work closely with chefs and restaurant staff to establish and uphold the standards that reflect the quality and care of Noble Food & Pursuits.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Maintain prep lists, complete assigned tasks, and support daily production needs
  • Open and close stations, maintain mise en place, and conduct required sidework
  • Receive, label, and store product properly to ensure quality and freshness
  • Keep your station clean, organized, and in line with food safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow cooks to uphold kitchen standards and meet service goals
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the chefs or management team

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong foundation in cooking methods, knife skills, and plating
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized station and follow recipe standards
  • Calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about cooking and professional growth

Why Join Us

  • Be part of the opening dinner service team at Copain Ballantyne
  • Employee discounts at all Noble Food & Pursuits locations
  • Opportunities to learn, cross-train, and grow within Noble Food & Pursuits
  • A structured kitchen environment with clear expectations and high standards
