Paid Media and Content Executive
We're looking for a Paid Content and Media Executive to join the marketing team at Young's. Working across both the Digital team and the
Content team, you will help drive sales (table and hotel room bookings), engagement and acquisition
through effective paid advertising and digital content. This is a split role, spending 3 days per week
working on ads and 2 days out creating content. We are looking for someone
self-motivated, confident to share new ideas, able to work to deadlines and
juggle projects whilst working in a fun and creative environment.
- Deliver paid media campaigns across all social channels including
Meta, Tiktok and YouTube and support with delivery of PPC campaigns on
Google
- Own paid social campaigns end-to-end including setup, targeting,
optimisation and reporting
- Analyse and report on campaign performance to key stakeholders,
sharing actionable insights covering successes and areas for improvement
- With the guidance of line manager, manage central and localised ad
budgets to ensure campaign spend is effective, weighted appropriately and
aligns to overall budget
- Create compelling ad assets and copy that lead to continued
engagement and conversion
- Work with website manager to ensure campaigns lead customers to
effective landing pages and convert into sales.
- Identify learnings from previous campaigns and use them to improve
effectiveness of future campaigns
- Drive innovation of paid media activity to ensure market-leading
activity remains fresh and relevant and maximises ROI
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, features and
strategy recommendations to ensure we remain innovative and competitive
- Work with wider marketing team to align paid media strategies with
overall marketing goal
- Support and upskill local marketing co-ordinators on best
practice to run advertising to drive sales for local pub events and sales
initiatives
Content Creation
- Create
compelling video, photo, blog and multimedia content that amplifies our
communications strategy, ignites engagement, and supports in building a bold,
industry-leading brand voice
- Collaborate
across departments to bring our core content pillars to life—whether it’s
showcasing seasonal food and drink, highlighting our Pubs with Rooms,
celebrating calendar moments, unveiling refurbishments, or telling the stories
of our people and culture.
- Stay
ahead of the curve by testing and adopting emerging digital trends—particularly
in short-form storytelling on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels—to
futureproof our brand presence.
- Drive social sales by inspiring our pub teams through
ASMC coaching and hands-on training at a local level. Delivering impactful
bi-monthly social media training sessions, elevating digital confidence and
creativity across the wider team.
Skills Required
- 2 years experience with social content and advertising
- Full
and demonstrable understanding of Meta Ads Manager
- Excellent
spelling and grammar with great attention to detail
- Good
with data and reporting
- Good
time management skills
- Self-motivated
and able to work to deadlines
