Director of Sales-Hyde & Seek

Opening in Autumn 2026, Hyde & Seek will join Marriott’s Tribute portfolio, bringing a new kind of boutique energy to Hyde Park. We are looking for a storyteller, a connector of people, a curator of moments, a dreamer with commercial flair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Together with General Manager and the Revenue team, develop and implement strategic plans to source, drive and grow revenue across all segments, constantly monitoring results and adjusting strategies and activities to make sure objectives and targets are met
  • To capture a greater market share and increase revenues in conjunction with all sales resources.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing and prospect accounts, taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities whilst ensuring we maximise our market share
  • Devise and implement marketing campaigns in support of Food and Beverage sales.
  • Drive and co-ordinate all sales activity to maximise revenue from existing accounts at hotel level, national and international level.
  • To participate in forecasting the hotel business mix, revenues and control mechanisms
  • Build soulful partnerships with key accounts, corporate partners and agencies, not just business deals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional results
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to maximise visibility and brand positioning
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to adapt strategy
  • Drive sales for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events, as well as leisure and corporate travel segments

About You

  • Proven track record of a minimum of 5 years as a senior sales leader in hospitality
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver and exceed revenue targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to represent the hotel at the highest level
  • A natural leader with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
  • Experience across rooms, events, and F&B sales within London market is essential
