It’s an exciting time to join us as Accounts Assistant.

An Accounts Assistant supports the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with hotel policies, and assisting daily hotel accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

·Process supplier invoices accurately and on time according to company policies and procedures

·Maintain vendor accounts and reconciliations

·Carry out daily banking, income audit and reporting

·Carry our accounts receivable duties such as prepare and post guest and corporate invoices, monitor outstanding payments, reconcile city ledger accounts. Assist with credit applications and approvals

·Carry out audits and reporting when and as needed

·Assist in stock and inventory reconciliations and support food & beverage cost control processes

·Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records and performing finance-related administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner

·Represent Hyde and Seek Hotel with professionalism, authority, and genuine care for the guest experience.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Accounts Assistant role in hotel industry, London experience is desirable
  • Passionate about finance, accuracy, and maintaining strong financial controls within a fast-paced environment.
  • A qualification or studies in Finance, Accounting, or Business would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Comfortable working with financial systems, with strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with PMS, POS, or accounting systems is a plus.
  • Naturally analytical, with strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Able to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and support process improvements proactively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively with both Finance and operational departments.
  • Confident working independently, exercising initiative and sound judgement when resolving issues.
  • A strong communicator who remains calm and professional in fast-paced or challenging situations.
  • A true ambassador for Hyde and Seek Hotel, bringing personality, creativity, and pride to everything you do.
