It’s an exciting time to join us as a Chef de Partie.

The Chef de Partie is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food while maintaining excellent hygiene, food safety, and operational standards. Working closely with senior chefs, the role contributes to delivering exceptional dining experiences and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing an assigned kitchen section, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Supervising, training, and supporting junior kitchen team members.
  • Ensuring consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation across all dishes.
  • Coordinating with senior chefs to deliver efficient and smooth kitchen operations.
  • Monitoring stock levels, minimising waste, and supporting cost control initiatives.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health and safety compliance.
  • Assisting with menu development and implementing new dishes where required.
  • Contributing to an exceptional dining experience through attention to detail and culinary excellence.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to manage a kitchen section independently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Experience supervising and supporting junior team members.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences.
