Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance & Painting Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and painting of all hotel facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment for guests and staff.
This role involves managing a team, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities meet safety and operational standards.
•
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
•
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
Painting & Aesthetic Upkeep:

Plan and execute all painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes.
•
Supervise surface preparation, colour selection, and application techniques.
•
Maintain a schedule for repainting and touch-ups in guest rooms, public areas, and exterior spaces.
•
Ensure compliance with safety protocols when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.
Team Management & Training:
•
Lead, train, and schedule the maintenance and painting team.
•
Assign tasks and monitor performance to maintain high-quality work standards.
•
Ensure staff adhere to safety regulations and proper equipment usage.
Budgeting & Inventory Control:
•
Manage budgets for maintenance, painting, and repairs.
•
Order and track supplies, tools, and materials efficiently.
•
Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
Safety & Compliance:
•
Ensure compliance with fire codes, and hotel safety regulations.
•
Conduct safety training and enforce workplace safety protocols.
•
Address maintenance-related risks and implement corrective actions.
