The Restaurant Group Support Centre, operating UK and Ireland, serves as the central hub for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all our restaurants across 3 brands. Offering a comprehensive range of services including staff training, IT support, inventory management, marketing, customer service, and financial guidance, our team is dedicated to providing timely, tailored solutions to each location. By streamlining operations and supporting restaurant managers, we enable them to focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Our Support Centre plays a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives, maintaining consistency across all locations, and empowering our teams to thrive in the competitive UK and Ireland foodservice market. 

 

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that our business receives the best value for goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency
  • Manage and oversee the purchasing process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet company quality, cost, and delivery requirements
  • Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and manage supplier contracts
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and Operations, to ensure timely procurement of materials
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for analysis and auditing

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of procurement regulations and industry best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
