About the Role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our restaurant's operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing day-to-day restaurant operations efficiently. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the restaurant team, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing financial performance, and maintaining high operational standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service for all customers.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to provide outstanding customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Develop and manage the restaurant's budget, including forecasting and financial reporting to ensure profitability and control costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure the efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, handling guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions, special events, and strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Evaluate employee performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to improve team performance.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Manage staffing levels to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures to increase efficiency and profitability while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Monitor sales, customer satisfaction, and other KPIs to ensure goals are met and take action to improve performance.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to maintain positive relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Report directly to the owners or senior management on operational performance, financial status, and any areas for improvement.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes, food safety, and service standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control practices.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently, with excellent decision-making skills.
  • Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling tools.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
