Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to keep our pub clean, hygienic, and welcoming for guests. You will be responsible for standard daily cleaning, maintaining pristine back-of-house areas, and ensuring our traditional features look their best.
Key Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and clearing bins across the main bar, seating areas, and guest restrooms.
- Deep Cleaning: Thoroughly cleaning back-of-house areas, including the kitchen floors, staff spaces, and storage areas.
- Polishing & Finishing: Polishing brass fixtures, bar rails, and wood surfaces to maintain the pub's character.
- Stock & Safety: Monitoring cleaning supplies and following basic health and safety/chemical guidelines (COSHH).
Requirements
- Previous commercial or pub cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for active work.
