As the Front of Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front of House department. Your leadership and people management skills will be essential as you inspire and empower our dedicated staff. You will ensure that our team members reach their full potential and deliver the highest standard of customer service.

Working closely with the senior management team, you will need to be both ambitious and adaptable, capable of navigating a variety of scenarios with ease. Your involvement in recruitment, training, and employee relations will be key to fostering a positive and dynamic workplace environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial management of the Front of House department, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Inspire and motivate the Front of House team to achieve excellence in service.
  • Conduct annual staff appraisals and manage ongoing team member development.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to Firmdale standards.
  • Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with both colleagues and guests.
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism and efficiency.

What you Need:

  • Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or Reception Manager in a high-end operation.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to assist with daily operations.
  • Strong ability to perform well under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a drive to propel the hotel’s success.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of current hospitality trends and competitor landscape.
