Job: Kitchen Porter at Cowley Manor

Based in: Cowley, Cheltenham

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls, etc.) clean and sanitised.
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts.
• Wash cookware, utensils, glassware, and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation.
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organised.
• Take out garbage.
• Support with routine food preparation tasks (i.e. peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed.
• Adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Apply all Health & Safety and food quality regulations.

• Experience in a similar role.
• Have a strong team spirit.
• Attention to details and customer needs.
• Good organisational and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
