Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Role Overview:

Responsible for delivering excellent service and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. The role involves providing knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the restaurant environment is welcoming, clean, and well presented.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Service

• Provide attentive and professional service to ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assess guest needs and make appropriate food and beverage recommendations.
• Present and explain the menu, demonstrating good knowledge of food and drink offerings.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver bills and process guest payments.

Service Standards

• Assist in maintaining the company’s standards for restaurant service and food quality.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality food and beverage service is delivered to guests.
• Set and prepare tables to ensure excellent presentation of the restaurant.
• Clean and sanitise tables, chairs, and counters to maintain a hygienic dining environment.

Health & Safety

• Follow all food and beverage safety, hygiene, and quality regulations at all times.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in a similar role within a comparable venue.
• Have a passion for Food & Beverage industry.
• Be well spoken with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to details and customer needs.
• Social, engaging and motivated.
• Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
• Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
