DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Management:
- Create
a welcoming environment for customers and drive a guest focused culture.
- Ensure
consistent, high-quality food and beverages are served to guests.
- Handle
and provide adequate solution to customer complaints.
- Deal
with customer feedback, sharing to the team and implementing actions.
- Oversee
the cleanliness of the venue and pay attention to possible health hazards and
regulation violations.
- Oversee the creation of the
cocktails and drinks menu.
Team Management
- In cooperation with the Human Resources department, the General Manager, the Deputy
and Assistant F&B Managers, lead the recruitment and onboarding of the F&B
team.
- Oversee
the F&B management, restaurant, and bar teams’ schedules.
- Work
with and develop the Deputy and Assistant F&B Managers and supervisors.
- Create
a positive work environment, ensuring a high employee and manager engagement
and optimising the manager and supervisor retention.
- Work
to resolve staff complaints, escalating to the GM when necessary.
- Conduct
regular performance review and talent management, conduct appraisals and
strategize for improving staff performance, in cooperation with the HR team and
the General Manager.
- Manage a training plan for the
F&B team, encouraging their career development within the company.
- Put in place opening and closing
procedures for the bar team. Regularly verify and record that the procedures
are followed along.
Administrative and Financial Management
- In
cooperation with the UK F&B Director and the General Manager, optimise the
profitability of the venue by managing margins through food sales and beverages
sales.
- Monitor
key activity indicators and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitor
and maintain a consistent payroll.
- Ensure
the maintenance of staff records and the monitoring of hours worked.
- Carry
out regular reporting on activities.
- Participate
in the management of inventory, orders, and purchases.
- Monitor inventory and ensure adequate
stock

- Experience
in a similar role within a comparable venue.
- Excellent
organisational and leadership skills.
- Be
well spoken with excellent communication skills.
- Attention
to details and customer needs.
- Social,
engaging and motivated.
- Flexibility
to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
- Knowledge
as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
- Proof
of eligibility to work in the UK.
