Location: London, which can involve travel to COYA locations in Barcelona and Mykonos.​

An exciting opportunity has arisen—we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Regional Financial Controller UK/EU

About the Role:

As the Regional Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance and supporting operational excellence across our UK and European locations. You will be the main point of contact for financial matters, working closely with operations and heads of department to deliver accurate and timely information.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations and heads of department to ensure correct financial processes and procedures are in place.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with external accountants to ensure management accounts are prepared within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the board of directors, including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow, and understand variances to budget and prior year.
  • Manage end-of-year audits and statutory accounts across all UK & Europe locations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, Corporation Tax, and Payroll Tax/Social Security.
  • Attend weekly head of department meetings, either on-site or remotely.
  • Manage and develop a team of 2 finance assistants for all locations.
  • Oversee the annual budget process, ensuring templates are set up and working closely with operations to complete and review budgets.
  • Work closely with insurance brokers to renew annual insurance policies and support any claims made.​

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in financial management within the hospitality or multi-site retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems such as Micros (POS), STO (Stock), and Harri (Payroll).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.​
