About You
You are a proven hospitality leader with experience in premium or luxury restaurants.
You genuinely love restaurants—not just managing them. You are energised by service, obsessed with the guest journey and take immense pride in creating memorable experiences.
You have a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, hospitality and attention to detail. You understand that true luxury is often quiet, thoughtful and delivered with humility.
You are just as comfortable welcoming guests as you are coaching your team, solving operational challenges or ensuring every compliance standard is met.
The Role
As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the restaurant, leading every aspect of the operation while working alongside an exceptional team of hospitality professionals.
This is a hands-on leadership role. Our restaurant will operate with a close-knit team, an open kitchen and service that relies on genuine collaboration between front and back of house.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading and inspiring a high-performing team through coaching, development and leading by example.
Creating exceptional guest experiences that leave lasting memories.
Managing a multi-floor operation with confidence and precision.
Working seamlessly with the kitchen team within an open kitchen environment.
Taking full ownership of compliance, food safety, health & safety and licensing requirements.
Driving financial performance through labour management, cost control and commercial decision-making.
Building a positive culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
Maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation and operational excellence every single day.
Representing the restaurant with pride within the local hospitality community.
