Description

Production Assistant
Kingston-on-Thames (4 days in office, 1 from home)

37.5 Hours

At Crew Clothing, we believe clothes are about so much more than “just clothes”. Designed with the spirit of the south coast in every stitch, our crossed oars are a mark of timeless British style. These are clothes for life’s best moments.

We believe in collaboration, kindness and creativity, in celebrating our successes and championing our customer at every step of the way. From ’93 to now, people have been at the heart of everything we do. It’s in our name – Crew.

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support the smooth running of Crew Clothing Company's busy Production team.

Working across e-commerce, campaign and marketing productions, you will play a key role in the pre-production and post-production of our e-commerce shoots. From coordinating samples and preparing for shoots to managing the approval and delivery of e-commerce imagery, you'll help ensure content is produced accurately, efficiently and on time. You'll also support seasonal campaign and content productions, working closely with Creative and teams across the business to help deliver high-quality content across all channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in fashion production. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working collaboratively, and take pride in keeping multiple projects organised.

No two days are the same - you'll be equally comfortable managing sample logistics, preparing for shoots, supporting on set, overseeing post-production workflows, and helping the team deliver best-in-class creative content.

Responsibilities

Sample Management
  • Own the day-to-day organisation and maintenance of the production sample rooms, ensuring all areas remain tidy, efficient and well maintained.
  • Log and track all samples received from Buying, Design and other departments using the internal sample tracker.
  • Take ownership and coordinate all samples required for shoots, ensuring products are available, organized and accurately tracked.
  • Arrange courier collections and deliveries as required.
Shoot Production
  • Pre- and post-production preparation for e-commerce, campaign and content shoots, including studio setup, garment preparation, product organisation, outfitting support, and resetting production areas.
  • Support production resources, ensuring equipment, props, samples and styling assets are organised, maintained, replenished and ready for every shoot, working with external storage partners where required.
  • Coordinate model castings and maintain up-to-date casting decks to support upcoming productions.
E-commerce Image Production
  • Take ownership of the post-production workflow for all e-commerce imagery, ensuring assets are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage the approval and upload process, ensuring all assets are correctly named, organised and available to the wider business.
  • Collate and communicate all image amends and retouching feedback to the studio, ensuring changes are actioned accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager, Creative and Buying teams to ensure imagery is delivered in line with launch deadlines and brand standards.
Production Operations

  • Provide general administrative support to the Production team.
  • Support sponsorship shoots, brand events and seasonal marketing campaigns as required.
  • Assist with production logistics and scheduling during busy trading periods.

Key Skills and Experience

   Essential

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative approach with a willingness to support across different areas of production.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a hands-on approach.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within fashion production, styling, sample management, photoshoot coordination or e-commerce content production.
  • An understanding of e-commerce and campaign production workflows.
  • Experience working with sample tracking systems, digital asset management platforms or production management tools.
  • Experience working with image approval and retouching workflows would be advantageous.
