Senior Production Manager
Full Time (4 days in office) 
Kingston-on-Thames

Purpose of the role:

GENERAL

  • Management and mentoring of Production team and ensuring roles and responsibilities are fulfilled, driving team efficiency and development. Providing clear direction, ongoing support, and structured development opportunities to enhance individual performance and career progression
  • Own and maintain the annual critical path, shoot schedules, and production calendars across multiple projects and teams.
  • Manage all communication of critical path and shoot timelines to wider business
  • Act as the central point of communication across cross-functional teams including Creative, E-commerce, Buying, and Merchandising
  • Budget management: including management of creative dept budget, all campaign budgets and overseeing ecom budget spend. Liasing with finance team on monthly team expenditure
  • Working closely with Head of Creative and ensuring creative briefs are met to standard, on time and to budget.
  • Full 360 production of campaign shoots, including partnerships, athleisure, and crew sports campaigns, overseeing kids, still life and elevated ecom shoots.
  • Keeping in contact and building good relationships with external agencies to get the best rates and talent available including photographers, models, stylists and H&MUA
  • Maintain a freelance database and crew network and seeking out new aspiring talent fit for the Crew brand
  • Overseeing model packages and sign offs
  • Management of image approval process and delivery of assets
  • Develop and implement scalable processes to support increased demand for social and digital video content
  • Coordination of catalogue production by managing timelines, aligning CRM launch dates with shoot schedules, overseeing creative and post-production workflows, handling feedback and proofs, and ensuring final distribution to all relevant teams.

CAMPAIGN

Planning

  • Manage the scheduling and critical path and communication of dates / circulation of critical path to key teams in the business
  • Full management and sign off each shoot budget and teams
  • Optioning and booking of all shoot teams, negotiating best rates available
  • Liasing with VM, social & ecom teams on asset deadlines, ensuring all meetings and image deadlines align with launches
  • Contribute to seasonal creative brainstorming sessions, supporting the development of campaign concepts

Pre-production

  • Management of external suppliers and freelancers including production agencies.
  • Responsible for planning and organising UK campaign shoots (location and studio) for the brand according to the Head of Creative’s briefs.
  • Keeping track of budgets pre-shoot to provide accurate estimates and tracking
  • Creating all relevant shoot decks and scheduling in all PPM calls with wider teams
  • Art buying and negotiation of contracts and licenses for all talent
  • Location scouting and bookings for UK shoots
  • Overseeing organising of accommodation, travel, catering etc for full team and communicating relevant call sheets
  • Overseeing packing relevant Production Kit, files and folders for smooth production of shoot

Production

  • Management of team, location and external suppliers on set
  • On Set production and full management on the day schedule
  • Working closely with production team on successful and smooth delivery of shoot
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-set issues quickly to avoid delays or additional costs, ensuring smooth shoot execution

Post- production

  • Budgets and analysis
  • Tracking and chasing invoices
  • Maintaining Imagery Tracker for internal retoucher and all post – production work flows & communication
  • Ensure schedule and delivery of all assets is followed  including hands on file management

Ecommerce

  • Overseeing planning and organising all e-comm shoots for the brand
  • Working E-com Production Coordinator on freelancers including models, stylists and H&MUA for shoots
  • Overseeing shoot schedule and bookings and ensuring all is on track for set live dates and concessions
  • Proactively refreshing talent – models, castings, regular contact with agencies
  • Oversee budget management
  • Research and Development of new AI processes, working on AI test shoots and how ecommerce can move forward with AI 
Key Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years’ management experience in similar in-house production roles at a multichannel retailer/brand/agencies
  • Friendly and approachable management style
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong budget and negotiating skills
  • Excellent track record with producing high end multi-channel national and international campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge of industry contacts
  • Ability to understand, translate and deliver briefs to deadline
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple deadlines under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates innovative thinking and strong creative execution
  • Experience and interest in fashion and clothing brands and marketing
  • Be adaptable to AI processes, continue research and develop AI tools

General:  Adaptable, high level of attention to detail, good communicator, can-do and positive attitude, able to work to deadlines.
