Purpose of the role
Working with our 3rd
party Concession partners, you would play a pivotal role in curating the
seasonal range selection and planning and implementing the seasonal strategy.
You would effectively analyse the performance of each brand, identifying opportunities
for growth and maximising sales and margin
Responsibilities:
Planning :-
- Planning and building the seasonal stock
packages, working within the OTB to deliver and maximise the sales plan
for the season.
- Create and maintain seasonal range plan. Identify
opportunities/areas of growth for each partner.
- Support the Senior Merchandiser in compiling
the weekly trade packs, analysing product performance across all partners and
making relevant recommendations in order to trade effectively.
- Participate in seasonal partner range review
meetings, providing performance overview and category planning information
for the season.
- Work closely with the Merchandising and
product teams to direct and sign off on range plans for each partner,
considering options width/breath, pre-season/OTB etc.
Analysis :-
- Action weekly replenishment based on product
performance, liaising with the branch merch team to ensure stock is
available.
- Working closely with the Online Concessions
trading team to ensure product set up and assets are available to launch
once the stock has been receipted.
- Attend all weekly/monthly concession partner
meetings, providing product/stock analysis.
- Analysing product performance by size, putting
forward size ratio recommendations for core merchandising improvements
- Complete returns analysis by partner, sharing
findings with wider teams.
- Be pivotal link between the E-com team &
Merchandising team, communicating any risks to trade & product
launches.
- Understanding of Critical Path to ensure
smooth product launches across all 3rd party concession
partners.
Other :-
- Build & maintain relationships with other
departments across the business.
- Build & maintain relationships with the
concession partners, ensuring constant communication on
product/stock/promotional stance updates.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential –
- Prior
experience of working as an Assistant Merchandiser (at least 1 year)
- Must have previous E-commerce/marketplace
experience.
- Able to present confidently to all levels
within the business.
- Strong Excel & Powerpoint skillset.
- Can display sound commercial judgement and experienced
in making profit related decisions.
- Has a flair for spotting opportunities whilst
managing risk to stock, sales and profit.
- Ability to manage heavy workload and meet
tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Be flexible, enthusiastic, confident and
proactive.
Desirable –
- Experienced in multi-channel retailing.
- Positive
and motivated team member.
- Enjoy working in a small/medium sized
company.
- Strong
interest in fashion/retail industry.
