We are recruiting enthusiastic plant lovers to join our Propogation Team in our Plant  Nursery Team

Job Description

We produce a wide range of perennials, annuals, bedding plants, herbs and grasses at our nursery. You will be involved in all aspects of plant production, including:

·        Propagation of young plants from seeds, cuttings, and bare root material

·        Potting on plants

·        Plant maintenance – both of plug plants and potted nursery stock

·        Watering

·        Maintaining the highest standard of nursery hygiene and tidiness

·        Preparing plants for dispatch

·        Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and company procedures

·        Other activities and duties as required

·        You will work 5 in 7 days every week (this includes weekend working)

·        Full training will be given

Skills & experience required:

· Good communication skills.

· Ambitious, self-motivated and methodical individual who can work on own initiative and well within a multi-national team.

· Good plant knowledge and experience in a Plant Nursery would be an advantage but not essential.

· Flexible approach and a can do attitude to ever changing priorities and workload. Hands on approach and the desire to work as part of the team, particularly during our busy periods.

· Own transport is essential due to hours and location.
