We’re looking for a General Manager for this extraordinary business that is due a “sparkle” this summer.  Situated in the heart of Bishop’s Waltham, a stone’s throw from the bustling port town of Southampton, The Crown Inn stands as a testament to tradition, community, and exceptional hospitality.

With a rich history dating back decades, our establishment has been a cornerstone of this charming town, since we re-opened 10 years ago following a significant investment.  The Crown Inn, with its 8 stylish bedrooms, is a perfect example of a 16th Century coaching inn, and not just a place to eat and drink, but a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back time and time again.

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic General Manager to lead our team and take this business to the next level.  Our ideal candidate is someone who is standards driven, can foster great links within the community and support the Head Chef and newly recruited kitchen team in driving the food part of the business.  The upcoming “sparkle” is intended to bring this business more in line with our Country Premium proposition. With property construction happening all around the surrounding areas the opportunities for new customers is exciting.

As the driving force behind our operation, the General Manager will be responsible for not only ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the pub & hotel but also for fostering a culture of positivity, teamwork, and exceptional service.  

We are looking for a leader who can inspire their team with energy and empathy, someone who understands the importance of building strong relationships with both staff and customers alike. If you have a genuine passion for quality food, drink, and most importantly people, and the ability to lead with charisma and compassion, then we want to hear from you!

This position can be Live In if required.
