Why join us?

We’re passionate about delivering unforgettable dining experiences, and we need someone who shares our enthusiasm for top-tier hospitality. As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing restaurant operations, leading an amazing team, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile. If you love great food, fantastic service, and working with an inspiring team, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Running the Show: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring everything runs like clockwork, from the dining room and bar to the host stand and beyond.
  • Inspiring Leadership: Lead by example, motivating and training your team to deliver top-notch service. Help managers and junior team members grow and feel supported in their roles.
  • Creating a Positive Work Culture: We believe happy teams create happy guests! You’ll play a vital role in fostering a fun, inclusive, and engaging workplace.
  • Delivering Unforgettable Experiences: Ensure every guest has an incredible time, from the moment they walk through the door to the last bite of dessert.
  • Staying Ahead of the Trends: Keep up with the latest food, wine, and hospitality trends to keep our restaurant fresh, exciting, and ahead of the game.
  • Working with the Kitchen Team: Collaborate with our Head Chef to maintain high-quality dishes, consistent recipes, and stunning presentation standards.
  • Managing Stock & Suppliers: Support the General Manager in maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Keeping It Safe & Spotless: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
  • Keeping the Restaurant Looking Its Best: Conduct regular inspections to make sure everything from equipment to décor is in top shape.
  • Balancing Work & Life: We know hospitality can be demanding, so we encourage a structured schedule, aiming for a 47-hour workweek while ensuring you get the rest you need.

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate leader with experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • A strong communicator who can bring teams together and keep operations running smoothly.
  • A problem-solver who can think on their feet and adapt to any situation.
  • A team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis is a bonus!
  • Ideally, experience in events, weddings, or sales...but we're open to all backgrounds!

What’s in it for you?

  • Up to £35,000 per annum, including service charge.
  • Chance to run a gorgeous, intimate restaurant in a creative exhibition space.
