Heard. is a smash burger concept from 2 Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey, bringing chef-level precision and bold flavour to fast-casual dining. After touring the UK’s biggest events, we opened our first restaurant in Borough in February 2025 — now we’re building a team to take service to the next level.
We’re looking for a sharp, energetic Assistant Manager to help lead the team, drive standards, and support daily operations.
Lead daily service across multiple revenue streams, setting the pace, owning the floor, and ensuring smooth execution from open to close
Train and coach new FOH hires within two weeks of starting, embedding brand values, systems, and service expectations
Confidently run the site in the GM’s absence, including cashing up, daily reporting, team management, and issue resolution
Maintain tight stock control for FOH, keeping all consumables and drinks stocked and within target waste levels
Uphold compliance standards across allergen logs, health & safety routines, and guest incident tracking — with no audit flags raised
Contribute to weekly labour planning and sales performance, helping to adjust floor strategy based on demand, spend, and conversion
Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor experience in a fast-paced, premium casual or QSR venue
Confident leadership and clear communication on the floor
Operational know-how — from cash handling and stock to compliance
Calm under pressure with a detail-focused, proactive approach
A people-first mindset — you lead by example and raise the bar for those around you
£18/hour + progression to GM
Monthly meal for you + 4 guests
Formal qualifications – Mental Health First Aid, H&S Level 2, Personal Licence
