Job Title : Account Executive. Team : Commercial
Reporting Line : Report to Account Manager
Location / Working Arrangement - Hybrid, office in London Bridge

Company Introduction

FoodLab is a fast growing B2B business operating in the beverage space. We partner with leading global brands to help bring their product ideas to life, and to support them across ingredients, production, and supply chain execution. As an early stage start-up, we are at a formative stage of growth, scaling both volume and complexity across multiple markets. We now operate production facilities in the UK and the US and work closely with external suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.

Role Introduction

We are hiring an Account Executive reporting directly to the Account Manager responsible for FoodLab's largest global customer accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business and play a key role in supporting the management and growth of strategic customer relationships. You will be at the centre of the commercial team, helping to ensure our customers receive exceptional service while coordinating key account activities across sales, operations, technical, procurement and finance.

You will support customer onboarding, manage CRM systems and customer data, coordinate product sampling programmes, and help ensure commercial activities are delivered efficiently and professionally. As FoodLab continues to grow, this role offers a clear development pathway into Account Management, providing exposure to customer relationship management, forecasting, commercial planning and business growth opportunities.

This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, commercially minded and eager to develop a long-term career within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business.

What You’ll Achieve
  • Support the Account Manager in the day-to-day management of key customer accounts.

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience through timely communication and proactive support.

  • Coordinate customer onboarding activities, ensuring all information, documentation and internal processes are completed accurately and on time.

  • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities and commercial information within our CRM systems.

  • Coordinate product sample requests, ensuring customers receive samples on time and to specification.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are communicated clearly and delivered successfully.

  • Support customer forecasting and sales reporting activities through data gathering, analysis and administration.

  • Prepare customer presentations, reports and account review materials.

  • Assist with the management of customer projects, product launches and commercial initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working that enhance the customer experience and support business growth.

  • Develop the skills, knowledge and customer relationships required to progress into an Account Management role.

What You’ll Have
  • Experience in a sales support, commercial administration, customer service, account executive, retail, buying, merchandising, supply chain or similar coordination role.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with data, create reports and support forecasting activities.

  • Experience using CRM systems or maintaining customer data with a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • A proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in developing a career in account management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience
  • Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, ingredients, retail, buying, merchandising or customer-facing commercial environments.
  • Exposure to sales reporting, forecasting or demand planning activities.
  • Experience supporting customer accounts within a B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM or order management systems.
