Description

Exceptional food. Warm hospitality. Flawless execution.

Join the Team of Oudh 1722

Oudh 1722 is a project rooted in the soul of Awadhi cuisine and the art of genuine hospitality. We transformed a three-story Victorian building into a dining sanctuary where the food—defined by the slow-cooked, aromatic traditions of Lucknow—is only half the story.

From the moment guests step inside, they should feel the theatre of the kitchen and the warmth of a world-class front-of-house team working in perfect harmony. Backed by a Michelin-starred pedigree, we are building an environment that is as intentional as it is elegant. We are looking for people who want to be part of a team where the service feels just as "handmade" and soulful as the food we serve.

This is an active, floor-focused leadership role for an ambitious hospitality professional passionate about guest experience, team coaching, and operational standards, with clear progression opportunities into restaurant management.

Role Overview

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be the heartbeat of the dining room floor, guiding the team with poise, energy, and precision. You will take ownership of daily service flow, mentor waitstaff and runners, and ensure our high standards of hospitality are met on every cover. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and General Manager, you will bridge the gap between floor operations and senior management in a fast-paced, quality-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the floor during busy lunch and dinner services, maintaining seamless communication between front-of-house and the kitchen pass.

  • Assist managers with running daily pre-service briefings, aligning the team on 86’d items, VIP bookings, tasting notes, and station assignments.

  • Actively train, shadow, and coach junior floor staff (commis, runners, servers) to elevate service standards and menu knowledge.

  • Monitor section pacing, table turns, and guest satisfaction, stepping in proactively to support stations during peak rushes.

  • Handle immediate guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests on the floor with confidence and grace, escalating to senior management when necessary.

  • Oversee opening, turnover, and closing checklists, ensuring impeccable dining room presentation, side-station stocking, and clean facilities.

  • Support daily stock counts, linen management, glassware care, and wastage tracking in accordance with restaurant policies.

  • Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, licensing regulations, allergens protocols, and health & safety standards throughout every shift.

  • Handle end-of-shift cash drops, till reconciliations, and floor handover reports accurately.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Head Waiter/Waitress, or Senior Floor Team Member in a high-volume, premium, or fine-dining setting.

  • Strong floor presence with natural leadership instincts and the ability to inspire a team during high-pressure services.

  • Solid working knowledge of fine dining steps of service, wine/beverage etiquette, and allergen awareness.

  • Exceptional communication skills, punctuality, and an eye for the small operational details that elevate a dining room.

  • A calm, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for hospitality and culinary storytelling.

The Package

  • Competitive annual salary

  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday (inclusive of public holidays)

  • Wholesome staff meals provided on shift

  • Generous dining discounts across the restaurant and regular team socials

  • Dedicated mentorship from senior management to prepare you for an Assistant Manager role

  • Clear, structured progression pathways within a growing, quality-driven operation
