We are looking for an experienced Operations Director to join an exciting new hospitality concept in London.

This is a senior operational leadership role for someone who understands how to build and run a profitable, efficient and consistently high-performing hospitality business. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the operation from the outset and ensuring the business delivers against its commercial and guest experience objectives.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the operational performance of the business, with a strong focus on profitability, efficiency, standards and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the day-to-day operational strategy and performance of the business
• Taking ownership of budgets, financial performance and operational efficiency
• Driving profitability and ensuring consistent trading performance
• Establishing operational structures, processes and standards
• Supporting the setup of suppliers, systems and operational infrastructure
• Working closely with the Project Manager throughout the opening and development process
• Collaborating with Marketing to support sales, brand awareness and guest acquisition
• Developing and maintaining high standards across service, product and guest experience
• Using commercial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring the business operates efficiently while maintaining its brand standards
• Building strong relationships with suppliers, partners and key stakeholders
• Being highly visible and hands-on across the operation
• Recruiting, developing and leading high-performing teams
• Supporting the business through opening and into sustained operational growth

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience at Operations Director / senior operations level
• A proven background in opening and operating restaurants
• Strong commercial and financial understanding
• Experience managing budgets, P&L and operational performance
• A track record of improving efficiency and profitability
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality standards
• Strong supplier and stakeholder-management skills
• A hands-on, outgoing and highly collaborative approach
• The ability to move comfortably between strategic planning and day-to-day operations
• A strong eye for detail and an uncompromising approach to standards

Experience across high-end hospitality, premium restaurants, hotels or multi-site operations would be advantageous.
