Dave's Hot Chicken is a rapidly expanding new franchise serving Nashville style Hot Chicken.  As a local, family owned franchise, Hot Chicken Idaho, LLC is excited to bring this extremely successful concept from Los Angeles to the Treasure Valley, located at 3450 N Eagle Road in Meridian, ID.

Summary

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager coordinating, directing, and planning everyday business operations.  The Assistant General Manager is a team builder and helps provide support and direction alongside the General Manager to ensure the operations of the business run smoothly.  Only excepting applications from qualified candidates with 2+ years of management experience in fast/casual food service.

Job Expectations

The Assistant General Manager ensures that Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job.  The AGM will also be expected to demonstrate leadership in the GM's absence.  Outstanding performance could result in further growth within the Company.

What We're Looking

Assistant General Manager candidates must have two or more years restaurant manager experience.  We value honesty and integrity and so should you.  Ideally the management team is flexible and open to learning new things and adjusting to change.  You must be able to operate independently and without a lot of supervision.

Nice to Have

• High Volume QSR with Drive Thru Experience

Duties:

• Support the General Manager in every aspect of running the business
• Restaurant cleanliness standards are of primary importance - be prepared to pass Ecosure audits
• Great organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Daily execution of high standards in food quality
• Control inventory
• Control food costs
• Provide training for employees
• Schedule employees
• Continuously drive for improvement
• Stay flexible in this dynamic, fast paced, changing environment

• Must be at least 21 years old and fluent in English
• Previous restaurant manager experience in a Casual/Fast Casual restaurant
• Current ServSafe Certification
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening, and closing shifts
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to bend and stoop and lift 50 - 75 lbs. comfortably
• Ability to work in close quarters and around heat
• Positive attitude while conducting any and all duties
• Commitment to Guest satisfaction - looks at Restaurant Operations from the Guest's point of view
• Effective communicator with co-workers and the Restaurant Management Team
• Excellent organization, planning, time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
