Job Summary

We're seeking experienced and driven VIP Hosts to join our team at Level 8, Downtown LA’s premier nightlife destination. As a VIP Host, you will be the face of our venues, managing guest interactions at the door while driving table sales, bookings, and guest retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and manage high-volume guest flow at the entrance of multiple nightlife venues within Level 8
• Sell, book, and track table reservations and bottle service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clientele to drive repeat business
• Manage guest lists, confirmations, and seating arrangements
• Provide top-tier service and a high-energy presence that aligns with Level 8’s standard of excellence

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Portrays a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
• Understands the policies and procedures of the organization and adheres to the company standards outlined in the company handbook.
• Possesses conversational knowledge of food and beverage items served at the establishment.
• Participates in training sessions, departmental meetings or pre-shift meetings.
• Ensures the well-being of all guests and co-workers by following the Company Safety Standards and maintaining compliance with the Department of Health and OSHAA.

Qualifications

• Previous nightlife experience required, preferably in a high-volume or upscale venue
• Existing client database strongly preferred
• Proven ability to generate and close VIP bookings
• Polished, professional appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, late-night environment
• Possesses excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills and time management ability.
• Actively contributes as a team player by supporting co-workers throughout each workday.
• Has a solid understanding of the job duties assigned to them and outlined in their job description.

Certifications Required

• Food Handling Safety certification
• RBS Certification

Compensation:

• Base pay plus commission on table sales.
• Strong earning potential for motivated, well-connected candidates.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
• Role may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying shifts days, evenings, weekends and holidays
