Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Nightlife Operations Manager to lead nightly execution, elevate guest experiences, and drive performance at one of Los Angeles’ premier venues. The ideal candidate thrives in high-energy settings, manages teams with precision, and knows how to blend creative programming with operational discipline to deliver exceptional nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee nightly operations across bar, door, security, and service teams to ensure smooth flow, safety, and premium guest experiences.
  • Manage and motivate staff while maintaining accountability, communication, and consistent standards of execution.
  • Coordinate promoter teams, ensuring alignment with revenue goals, crowd quality, and overall venue vision.
  • Curate and oversee programming — DJs, hosts, special events, and brand activations — to keep nights fresh and on-brand.
  • Track nightly performance metrics, including sales, labor, and promotional impact; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to support event campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Serve as the on-site leadership presence, problem-solving in real time and maintaining professional rapport with VIPs and talent.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members to uphold company culture and standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of management experience in nightlife or entertainment venues.
  • Proven success managing teams and promoters in a high-volume nightlife setting.
  • Strong knowledge of event production, music programming, and nightlife trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Certifications Required

  • Certification relating to Alcohol Awareness (TIPS/SIPS for example)
  • Food Handling Safety certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be 21 years of age or older. 

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.

  • Role may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.

  • Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying shifts days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
