Bartender

Dear Irving on Hudson, part of critically acclaimed Yves Jadot Restaurants, is looking for a bartender to join the cocktail-focused crew at this spectacular rooftop bar.

ABOUT THE LOCATION
Dear Irving on Hudson is the second NYC location of our time traveling cocktail parlor. This location is devoted to James Bond and Art Deco time traveling themes and is located on the 40th and 41st floor of the Aliz Hotel in Midtown Manhattan offering spectacular views of New York City.

JOB OVERVIEW
Our bartenders are ambassadors to our community, sharing great drinks, epic views, and stylish environs. Successful candidates for this position will have a passion for engaged and friendly customer service, will possess a rich knowledge of the beverage world, and will be skilled at quickly and efficiently producing high quality cocktails. We are seeking candidates with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, a critical eye for detail, and a genuine ability to connect with both guests and staff. 

Specifically, candidates will:

• Craft and serve superior beverages according to our recipes
• Work within a team of bartenders to ensure top quality guest satisfaction
• Be acutely aware of and anticipate guests' needs
• Provide guests with drink explanations and menu breakdown

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be passionate about spirits, drinks, and the beverage community of NYC.
• Must be able to work nights/weekends in a busy, team-oriented environment.
• All applicants should be committed to training for both bar and floor shifts.
• Strong base knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits is preferred.
