What You’ll Do

As a Receptionist, you will:

• Provide a warm welcome to all guests, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
• Handle and relay messages via phone, email or face to face, ensuring all communications are passed to the relevant departments.
• Check guests in on arrival, delivering 5-star customer service from the moment
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure guest needs are met quickly and efficiently
• Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness for the safety of our guests and colleagues
• Support with general administrative duties, including paperwork, reporting and front-of-house organisation
• Deal with complaints professionally, escalating where appropriate to ensure a swift resolution
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area and ensure office supplies are stocked

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a friendly and proactive team player who brings:

• At least 2 years experience in a customer-facing or customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer care instincts, with a calm and efficient approach to problem-solving
• Great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and booking systems
• A flexible attitude to working weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota
• Initiative and professionalism, with a helpful attitude at all times
